Support for the TÜBİTAK 4009 Supported "From Tradition to Future: Science Harvest in My Village" Project from Our Faculty

Applied chemistry education has been provided at Boğazköy Veysel Mutlu Middle School within the framework of the project "From Tradition to Future: Science Harvest in My Village" (Bucak Şehit Ayfer Gök BİLSEM) by our faculty member Prof. Dr. Yaşar GÖK, as part of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program. In the event, experiments on acid-base chemistry were conducted using a natural indicator (purple cabbage); students' acquisition of basic scientific process skills was supported through direct observation. We thank our faculty member who contributed to the scientific literacy of students studying in village schools by enabling them to understand scientific phenomena through interactive applications.
