Technical visit to the Belek Tourism Center with biology department students

Second-year biology students, under the guidance of Professor Deniz İnnal, conducted a technical visit to the Antalya Belek Tourism Center on October 13 (Tuesday) as part of their entrepreneurship course.

This visit, themed "The Importance of Employment of Biologists in Tourism Management," provided students with the opportunity to observe how biological knowledge is applied in the tourism sector and gain professional experience on-site.

As part of the visit, theoretical and practical training was conducted on topics such as environmental infrastructure and public health, waste management and wastewater utilization, garden and landscape management, biodiversity conservation, collaboration with public institutions, and environmental management.

This technical visit was a very valuable experience for students, who are young candidates for biologists, to broaden their professional perspectives, understand how to utilize the knowledge and skills they have developed in the field of biology in different areas, and explore future employment opportunities.

We emphasize the importance of extending education and learning beyond the classroom, fostering students' entrepreneurial skills, and recognizing the potential of their professions in different fields.

We sincerely thank the officials of BETUYAB (Belek Tourism Investors Association) for their cooperation in conducting this meaningful technical visit, the officials of Robinson Nobilis Hotel for their warm hospitality and support for the educational process, and the Office of the President of our university for making it possible to provide this valuable learning opportunity to the students.

We hope that young biologists will make a difference in the fields of nature, environment, and sustainable tourism, find employment opportunities in various fields, and grow as individuals who add value to the future.
