The Department of Anthropology held an Open Science Laboratory Event

Our Faculty's History, Science and Economics Society, Anthropology Society, and Archaeology Society collaborated to hold an Open Science Laboratory Event in the Anthropology Department Laboratory to introduce students to findings and materials specific to the fields of Geography, Anthropology, and Archaeology. During the event, studies on archaeological, anthropological, geological, and geomorphological stone-mineral materials were shared with students from different departments.
During the event, information about anthropological findings was provided by Anthropology Department Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Alper Yener Yavuz. Information about rocks and their types was provided by Geography Department Faculty Member Dr. Onur Yayla. Information was given by Geography Department Faculty Member Dr. Uğur Tozkoparan regarding the interdisciplinary relationships of the fields of Archaeology, Anthropology, and Geography, and their contributions to the scientific field.
Additionally, the student president of the Archaeology Society, Caner Şen, and the student president of the Anthropology Society, Ali Emir Orhan, introduced the sample findings in the laboratory. The event concluded with thanks to those who participated in this productive organization that strengthens interdisciplinary interaction and contributed to it.
