An Event Was Organized Within the Scope of April 7 Chemistry Day at Our Faculty

An event was organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Chemistry Department and MAKÜ Chemistry Student Community on April 7th Chemistry Day. The program attracted great interest from academics, students, and university staff.

At the event, the President of the Turkish Chemical Society Prof. Dr. Bahattin YALÇIN and Evly Pharma Group – The Purest Solutions / Imprime Strategy and Business Development Director Senior Chemist Gürol Özhan DEMİREL participated as speakers. Throughout the program, valuable information was shared with participants on green chemistry, a sustainable future, modern cosmetic chemistry, and career opportunities in the field of chemistry.

The event, which started with a music recital and department introduction, continued with conferences held by expert speakers in their fields. The program concluded with a group photo session and a refreshments section.

The event, which highlighted the social and academic importance of the science of chemistry, was followed with interest and satisfaction by the participants.
