Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aslı Ünar’dan Coğrafya Bölümü Öğrencilerine Yönelik Arkeoloji Konferansı

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Geography Department, under the organization of Dr. Lecturer Özge Can Doğmuş and Dr. Lecturer Mustafa Utlu, held an event. Aiming to explore the relationships between the disciplines of archaeology and geography and to explain the importance of interdisciplinary work to students, this program was presented to 4th-year geography students with the participation of Dr. Lecturer Aslı Ünar from the Archaeology Department as a speaker.

In the event, which had the quality of a lesson, the fundamentals of archaeology, environmental archaeology, geographical determinism, and the natural connection of archaeology with the geography discipline were conveyed to the students. Additionally, common topics lying at the intersection of both disciplines were covered, providing students with an in-depth perspective on how these fields can work together to produce more meaningful studies.
