As part of the "2024-Biologists Day" event, a conference on "The Importance of Biodiversity Museums and the Introduction of Hacettepe University Biosphere Museum" was held on Wednesday, April 17, between 11:00-12:00, organized by our faculty's Department of Biology & Department of Molecular Biology-Genetics, with the participation of Hacettepe University Faculty of Science Department of Biology faculty members Prof. Dr. Selim Sualp ÇAĞLAR and Prof. Dr. Mahmut KABALAK, moderated by Prof. Dr. Deniz İNNAL.
In the conference, Prof. Dr. Selim Sualp ÇAĞLAR touched upon the importance of Biodiversity Museums and the establishment process of the Biosphere Museum. Prof. Dr. Mahmut KABALAK, after providing information about the museums, presented examples of materials found in the Biosphere Museum.
At the end of the conference, our dean Prof. Dr. Sevilay ÖZER and our institute director Prof. Dr. Yasin ARSLAN presented certificates of appreciation to Prof. Dr. ÇAĞLAR and Prof. Dr. KABALAK.
